Phase VI: Bidding and Negotiations

(Competitive bids are proposed by a selected list of bidders or general contractor.)

  1. Present approved bidders with documents with bidding instructions
  2. Review bids and determine compliance with bidding instructions
  3. Review bids with building committee
  4. Review bids with governing body
  5. Select best contractor with best bid (not necessarily the lowest)
  6. Negotiate construction contract terms
